An opportunity to join the team now exists for an experienced Commissioning Engineer.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, completion, verification and reporting of commissioning activities of the designated project. You will undertake commissioning checks and verification activities to ensure the project is commissioned in accordance with Contract specifications, Design and Contractual requirements and undertake completion activities required for delivery and handover of the project to the client.
This includes but not limited to:
- Onsite Pre-Commissioning and Process Commissioning.
- Preparing Commissioning Management Plans (CMP) for designated projects.
- Arranging and managing commissioning resources.
- Carry out commissioning of the designated projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Liaise between operations, commissioning teams and construction personnel.
- Coordinate and deliver operator training.
- Manage the collation of commissioning test results, session reports and notes into the Commissioning Report.
- Ensure drawings, manuals, records, licenses, statutory documentation and other documentation is available at handover stage.
- Finalise and submit Commissioning Reports.
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with key clients, subcontractors and their representatives.
About You:
The ideal candidate would be someone with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in managing the commissioning process for construction projects.
- Familiarity in Waste Water Treatment and Water Treatment processes.
- Interpersonal skills dealing with key stakeholders including senior management, customers, consultants, contractors;
- Experience in critical analysis of work processes and procedures and able to identify and implement improvements.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel and MS Project.
- Experienced in completing Punch listing, Checklists and Inspection Test reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct any fault or deficiency.
- Ability to travel within Australia.
- An A Class Electrical License would also be preferable.
