The MS Extension supplies the town of Narembeen and surrounding farmlands with drinking water from the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supply. This project involved the construction of new pipelines and 2 new potable water booster pump stations, including all electrical and telecommunication works for three sites. GO performed the upgrade and refurbishment of the pump stations including the Belka booster pump station, the West Narembeen booster pump station, the replacement of discharge pipework and valves, electromagnetic flowmeters, switchboards at Belka PS, West Narembeen PS and Wadderin Tank and the electrical and control systems. GO identified design faults prior to construction and incorporated safe construction methodologies during the works.
