About Us:
Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water. 

Our Opportunity:
The Office Administrator is responsible for all front desk activities by providing the best experience for all people who contact or visit the company. The role is also responsible for supporting various departments and other administrative duties. This role is covering a Maternity Leave.

As our Office Administrator at GO you will also:

  • Carry out all receptionist duties such as answering calls and greeting visitors in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Manage all general administration duties and this may include office stationery ordering and other project specific support.
  • Manage all travel bookings for the local WA team.
  • Organise corporate events and all catering including the preparation of daily lunch for the office team and weekly food shopping.
  • Ensure the office is always clean, tidy, and well organised.
  • Manage all warehouse receipt and dispatch.
  • Organise and maintain Equipment & Container registers and ordering signage

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A relevant Administration Qualification or Administration experience in the construction industry.
  • Highly developed verbal and writing skills coupled with advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel. 
  • An ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivation, problem solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills. 
  • An affinity for with our Guiding Principles of Health & Safety, Integrity, Trustworthiness, Excellence and Respect
