Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water.
We are recruiting for a General Labourer and Mechanical Trade Staff with a background in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure. These roles are casual fulltime roles with the potential to move to full time permanent for the right person. They are based on various projects around Sydney, particularly Sydney Science Park and could include Newcastle.
Our Trade staff are responsible for the undertaking of construction work on site and ensuring the work is completed safely, timely and meets environmental, community, quality, and cost requirements. They also prepare or assist the Site Supervisor in the implementation of Safe Work Method Statements for the work to be undertaken.
As our ideal candidate you will:

Have a Cert 3 or higher Trades Ticket (not mandatory for the General Labourer)
Have solid experience working on major infrastructure projects, Water Industry preferred but not necessary
Be familiar with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards relating to the construction industry
