Construction Manager - WA - Alkimos

About the Role:

Working with the Project Managers, in-house Design Team, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and Trades staff, the Construction Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of projects from concept to handover in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner, with a quality focus and adherence to company policy, customer expectations and project specifications. 

The Construction Manager is required to start in the new year and will report to the Project Manager as a key resource on our wastewater project based in Alkimos. 
  
You will bring:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role in construction, preferably the water industry 
  • Solid construction industry knowledge 
  • A Diploma in Project or Construction Management 
  • A Senior First Aid Certificate and a White Card – General Construction Industry Training Card 
  • An ability to effectively lead and manage teams of people coupled with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines 
  • Self-motivation and strong communication skills 
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills  
  • A strong safety and quality focus 
  • An ability to influence others while making sound decisions
