Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water.
Our Opportunity:
Due to GO winning the contract to design and construct a desalination plant situated within Onslow, near the Beadon Creek Maritime Facility, we seek an experienced Site Manager to work a 2/1 roster. Commencement of the project on-site is scheduled for June 2024.
The project encompasses various components, including marine infrastructure, civil excavation, concrete foundations, sewer and below-ground service pipework, pressure pipework, instrumentation and pumps, modular building structures, and water storage tanks.
As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the site construction aspects of the project, in particular the daily planning, programming, and resourcing of the project to ensure that the project is completed safely, on time and meets environmental, community, quality and cost requirements. You will also assist the Project Manager to prepare and implement Project Management Plans, Safe Work Method Statements and conduct daily prestart meetings and weekly toolbox meetings.
