Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water. 

Our Opportunity:
GO are seeking an Office Administrator to join the team. As the Office Administrator you will be responsible for all front desk activities by providing the best experience for all people who contact or visit the company. This role provides administration and coordination activities to support a positive office working environment. 

As our Office Administrator at GO you will carry out the following duties:

  • Catering and Staff lunches. At GO we provide daily lunch for the office employees. This role is responsible for:
    • Plan and prepare daily lunches and coordinate the lunch cleaning roster. 
    • Liaise with food vendors, manage orders and negotiate effectively
    • Manage the setup of lunch service, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
    • Manage orders for office functions and monthly cake day. 
    • Keep kitchens stocked and tidied.
  • Reception: 
    • Coordinate daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment, including event coordination, managing office supplies, monitoring equipment and facilities.  
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide office and project administrative support including record keeping, travel coordination, and project specific tasks. 
  • Customer Service: 
    • First point of contact for visitors, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant administration experience.
  • Highly developed verbal and writing skills coupled with advanced skills in Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel. 
  • An ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivation and problem-solving skills. 
  • An affinity for with our Guiding Principles of Care, Integrity, Passion, Respect and Future
