Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water. 

Our Opportunity:
An amazing opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Estimator. This role will suit a highly motivated individual with a background in estimation, project management or engineering gained within the construction industry. Essential to your success in this role is adaptability and a solutions-focused approach to produce winning bids. This role requires experience in construction estimating and is unfortunately not suitable for a recent graduate.

If you are sick and tired of constant travel, then this could be the role for you. 

More specifically our Estimators are responsible for:

• Forming and maintaining client relationships
• Reviewing tender documents
• Preparing tender submissions
• Preparing delivery methodologies
• Develop project cost estimates

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience estimating within the construction industry.
• Formal engineering or construction qualifications.
• Well-developed communication skills coupled with strong problem solving and influencing skills.
• Attention to detail and an ability to meet strict deadlines.
