The role:
We are currently seeking an experienced People & Culture professional to join our team based in Thebarton, South Australia.  As the successful applicant you will manage a small team delivering HR support, operational and cyclical activities, and projects to operationalise P&C deliverables. 
This role will foster a positive workplace culture, enabling the success of employees and leaders through effective people engagement, management and development practices. 
The role requires a demonstrated knowledge of the Fair Work Act and best-practice People & Culture processes. A pragmatic and collaborative approach is required to deliver value to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a small partnering team to deliver people and culture support, operational and cyclical activities and projects that will improve employee experience, development, capability and engagement.
  • Support development and overall delivery of our talent and capability programs. 
  • Lead the development of business resource planning process to enhance strategic resource planning
  • Support delivery of leadership capability and development programs, including working with external parties to deliver.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to overhaul and enhance our early careers program
  • Lead our ongoing work to enhance our flexible work options to further enable work life balance and to attract greater diversity to our teams.

As our ideal candidate you will have: 

  • Demonstrated experience in human resources/people and culture, including team management
  • Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, and relevant workplace legislation, and regulations. 
  • Business acumen and experience with a variety of industries is an advantage 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset to identify risks 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills 
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy 
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
